User Configurable Actions do not appear in the context menu of items in remote locations (e.g. sftp, smb). These actions could be provided for remote locations as long as the GVFS FUSE system is operational. For example, the "Open Terminal Here" option would open a terminal somewhere inside /home/user/.gvfs/ .
Created attachment 3482 Patch to enable user configuable actions on remote files This patch to Thunar enables User Configurable Actions for remote locations when the GVFS FUSE system is working (otherwise g_file_get_path fails and the actions are only available for local files).
