User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042523 Ubuntu/9.04 (jaunty) Firefox/3.0.10
Build Identifier: 1.0.0

Cannot remove final character of filename before extension.

Example: Filename-1.doc

Can remove - from right only. No configuration allows to remove 1. Removing from 0 to 1 doesn't change the filename.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select multiple files
2.Choose the Rename command
3.Select Remove Characters
4.Change both directions to "From the back(right)"
5.Change to remove from position 1 to 0.

Actual Results:
No change to filename. Change from position 2 to 1 is the first configuration that actually changes the filename but only changes the next-to-last character.

Expected Results:
The last character of the filename before the extension should be removed.

Thanks for the fix. How do I apply it? Do I just reinstall Thunar through apt?
