Thunar with ntfs-3g - Hogs CPU
Status:
RESOLVED: INVALID

Description dakaujunk 2009-09-02 02:19:54 CEST
While opening an NTFS-3G mounted drive with thunar-1.0.0 and viewing a folder with some files, where the file sizes are in MegaBytes (MBs), the CPU load for ntfs-3g shoots up to 80%. After around 2 minutes, the CPU utilization starts to ride a wave from normal to 80% for 5 minutes.

I'm sure the issue is only with Thunar + NTFS-3G, since using PCManFM on the same folder does not reproduce this error.

XFCE - 4.6.0
Thunar - 1.0.0
Kernel - 2.6.28-15-generic
Distro - Linux Mint 7 XFCE

Please reopen if this is still an issue with the latest thunar release.
