xfce4-notes-plugin 1.6.3

Resize grip dosen't work , the bar appears but I can use it to resize the notes window  

The only way to make it work is to goto Options -> turn Resize grip on -> off and on again 
then it works , unfortuantly this manual intervention is required every time xfce4-notes-plugin is restarted
