If I drag some files from thunar or xfdesktop and hover over the panel for some time, the whole panel auto-hides, and it doesnt restore itself before I right click on it and press 'customize panel'.

The panel is not set to auto-hide.

I'm running xfce 4.4.2 on Arch Linux

This is a duplicate of bug 3815 which was already fixed in trunk.

I already though I'd fixed that one, but couldn't find the bug while I was in a hurry. Thanks for posting the bug number Jerome.
