Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make a file on your desktop. 2. Left-click with your mouse-button on it, and keep the mouse-button down. 3. Move the mouse in one of the panels. 4. Move the mouse back out one of the panels. 5. Release the mouse button somewhere on the desktop to drop the file. Actual Results: The panel which you hovered almost disappears totally, there only remains a thick line on which it's possible to right click to have the "right-click" menu displayed. Expected Results: The panel should stay as usual.

The updated xfce4-panel was packaged by mr_pouit for xubuntu's development release, and has been successfully tested by four users thus far. This bug was no longer present with the updated package, and there have been no regressions noted. Thank you for your work here, Nick.
