User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052723 Minefield/3.0 Build Identifier: When viewing a file's properties, it would be nice if we could edit that file's permissions like PCManFM lets us: an advanced permissions-editing dialog, allowing us to set r,w,x for owner, group, others; it should also be able to set/unset the setguid, setuid, and sticky... Also, Thunar is currently unable to change the owner of a file, even when running it with the root account. I recall Nautilus being able to show the permissions' dialog in two fashions: one basic dialog (like Thunar's) and another dialog, both more complex and useful. Please look into this :) (and the ability to open the properties dialog for multiple selected files, described in another bug) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select a file 2. Open properties dialog for that file I marked this as "Normal" severity, even though I think that being able to fully handle file's permissions is a *major* component of any file manager :)
