User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.13) Gecko/20080327 Remi/2.0.0.13-1.fc6.remi Firefox/2.0.0.13
Build Identifier:

It is really annoying that I have to open a terminal to use the missing
parts of the chmod and chown functions in Thunar.

I need the following added:

1) the ability to change the "owner"
2) the ability to change the "group"
3) the ability to change all three
of the permission bits (read, write, and execute)
in all three of the permission groups (owner,
group, and other)

Many thanks,
-T

Reproducible: Always

If it helps the programming task, the open source PC Man file manager
(http://pcmanfm.sourceforge.net/) does everything I need on a single
windows (under permissions). You could use their code as an example.

Many thanks,
