Thanks for the report. Sounds like a hard problem to fix. I don't think I will be able to do much, if anything, about this before 4.4.

Well the code is different, but I can take a look.
Devel branch has been merged in master. A 4.7.0 release will follow soon. If you think this bug is not fixed? Feel free to reopen the bug.
