When i look in appfinder i see two Xfce Terminal. One for running the application and one for configuration. They both use the same title and the same icon so only the description is different making it hard to see the difference quickly. There is also Terminal Emulator using the same icon again. Search for "terminal" in appfinder to see them side by side. Thunar have almost the same issue with 3 shortcuts. Search for "file manager" in appfinder to compare. It seems inconsistent that the settings shortcut for Thunar is called File Manager (not Thunar File Manager) but the settings shortcut for Xfce Terminal is called Xfce Terminal (not Terminal). I guess a reason could be that if you install more then one terminal it would not be so good to have them all called Terminal. But if there is only one shortcut under Settings for setting terminal settings then maybe its fine to just call it "Terminal" or "Terminal Emulator". "Xfce Terminal" is the only item in Settings that starts with "Xfce ". Seems "Xfce Panel Switch" changed name to "Panel Profiles".
This has already been fixed. The fix will be included in the next release which I'm hoping to make really soon. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 14456 ***
