Hi! After the lastest update Thunar won't start. I couldn't really figure out from the strace log whats wrong, so I decided to remove the old files in the ~/.cache and later in the ~/.config folders. 1.8.0 and 1.8.1 was unable to start with my old uca.xml. I had to roll back to the 1.6.5 release as a temporary solution. If needed I can attach the strace log. From the very first time I was pretty sure it must be some problem with GTK3. Version 1.7.2 was never available in the Arch repos. Thank you
Thanks for reporting this, and glad you figured it out ! Maybe you still have a copy of the old uca.xml which caused the trouble ?
Maybe a dup of Bug 14464. By any chance, does your uca.xml contain a custom action without an icon? If possible, try to build Thunar from git master, there is already fix for the aforementioned bug.
It's definately a duplicate then, a few actions are defined without an icon. I will recompile Thunar later and feedback. Thank you
