Hi Alex, I'm not sure I got the problem - what applications cannot get focus? Is this problem similar to bug #13396, or is this something different?
>Is this problem similar to bug #13396, or is this something different? Yes it's the same. Sorry for the duplicate.
*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 13396 ***
(In reply to Alex Petrov from comment #2) > Yes it's the same. Sorry for the duplicate. That's fine, thanks for the confirmation. I can reproduce the bug, but I wasn't able to figure out the reason so far. May be related to how the WM handles drop-down window, but I have no idea what should be changed in order to resolve the problem. :(
Unfortunately my knowledges is not enough to help you to resolve the problem. But I have to note that closing the gnome's apps (gedit, calc, disks and so on) doesn't trigger that behaviour. Maybe (just a guess) it somehow connected with window decoration?
In addition: it is unnecessary have to be closing. it can be either maximizing or minimizing or just mouse down on these three buttons and then moving cursor out.
