Buggy directory or file selector

When I am going to change wallpaper I can select only folders from left panel. I.e. i can select homedir from left panel but I cannot select ../homedir/Pictures. All subfolders are grayed. 
Debian 9.0 x64

You'll need to ask your distro maintainers to update to https://mail.xfce.org/pipermail/xfce-announce/2017-June/000533.html xfdesktop 4.12.4 to work around the regression introduced in a newer Gtk2 version.
