Using Xubuntu Zesty updated daily.

GTK is at 3.22.5

Using notifyd from https://git.xfce.org/users/ochosi/xfce4-notifyd

Running xfce4-notifyd from terminal or from menu it is possible to scroll using mouse wheel in the application and log tabs.

Start notifications from the Settings Manager and it is not possible to scroll using the mouse wheel in either tab.

Note: was also seeing the inability to scroll in Applications via Settings Manager prior to using the current version built from git

I can confirm the bug. What makes this a bit hard to debug is that I cannot use the gtkinspector because the xfce4-settings-manager is still Gtk2 :/

Works for me with the Gtk3 settings manager, please test that!

pretty sure I did > https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13318
Comment 5 Simon Steinbeiss editbugs 2017-08-14 23:26:31 CEST
This is a regression in xfce4-settings and unrelated to xfce4-notifyd - it affects all other plugged Gtk3 dialogs as well as far as I can tell.

As explained above this is a bug in another component.
