It seems similar to bug 1686, but is triggered by history action "Back" and "Forward". One example with "Back": with thunar got to /tmp in a terminal mkdir -p /tmp/toDel1 with thunar got to /tmp/toDel1 in a terminal rm -r /tmp/toDel1 with thunar trigger menu action "back" => expected behaviour : be informed that /tmp/toDel1 doesn't exist anymore => current behaviour : we're back in /tmp/toDel1 and the pathbar display /tmp/toDel1
And it was with ubuntu 16.10. #lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available. Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Release: 16.04 Codename: xenial #apt-cache show thunar | grep -i version Version: 1.6.10-2ubuntu1
