hmm actually I have to be a my home dir for it to happen. A sign that the problem will appear is also that when creating the dir it is not highlighted.When doing this in lower levels of the hierarchy the view slides to show the newly created dir. Did not try the patch yet, but maybe this way you can reproduce it. So step 0. cd ~
seems to work with the patch applied
