There are times, such as just after bringing the screen back from a screen saver or blanker, that users aren't sure just where the mouse pointer is. And, on some laptops, the touchpad will move the pointer during typing. Being able to highlight the pointer in some way (Gnome uses the Control key.) will make this much easier, and would make a nice enhancement.

Will someone please change this "bug's" status to INVALID? Not having a feature that you wish it did IS NOT A BUG!

Please use this service correctly, not doing so can create hassles for people who use search functions in order to track and deal with bugs. Thanks.

Don't be so hysterical about it. I've used various Bugzillas where enhancement requests were logged the same way as bug reports, so I did what seemed to be standard. I'm sorry if I offended you by not knowing that you don't like to be bothered by such things, but I was only doing what I thought was expected.
