This bug was reported at bugs.debian.org (Nov 2010) but without identifying the cause, until this comment did [url=http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=578293#47]here[/url]

I have found this bug in Thunar 1.4 and 1.6

To reproduce:
*copy a file
*switch to Icon view
*change directory and use Ctrl-V

Result:
no file is pasted

Work-around:
Edit menu > Paste works as usual.

Ok it works with me too, since I installed from experimental I didn't notice it worked.  closed then.  thanks
