Vertical decoration in the Applications Menu

Hallo everybody! 
Is there any chance to add an optional vertical Decoration into the Applications Menu? I liked this feature in KDE 3.5 Start menu, but unfortunately this visual beauty is long time gone.

I don't think we will implement this. Maybe you can do this with a gtk css theme hack though...
