I use xfce with xscreensaver. Xscreensaver is configured to lock screen after 5 minutes of inactivity. When I enable presentation mode, screen still gets locked. I think screensaver should be disabled when presentation mode is enabled.
I just want something moderately X compliant so that I can inhibit the screen saver and xfpm when I'm watching videos. Toggling things with xfconf-query doesn't really count.
Indeed and it should work as expected now with this commit: http://git.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-power-manager/commit/?id=e07fd9b7571c53bc4dbf3ed77915047cb4a0f3e2 Presentation mode should now disable screen blanking.
Resolved in master, will be part of the next release.
