I use xfce with xscreensaver. Xscreensaver is configured to lock screen after 5 minutes of inactivity. When I enable presentation mode, screen still gets locked. I think screensaver should be disabled when presentation mode is enabled.

I just want something moderately X compliant so that I can inhibit the screen saver and xfpm when I'm watching videos.

Toggling things with xfconf-query doesn't really count.

Indeed and it should work as expected now with this commit:

Presentation mode should now disable screen blanking.
