On Xubuntu 12.10 64-bit, when I resume from suspend, the clock displays the time when the suspend occurred, and it takes about 30 seconds for the clock to update to the correct time. Then the clock works fine after that. The time needs to be updated immediately after resuming from suspend.
Created attachment 5923 Patch that forces clock reset every second Please review whether attached patch is acceptable to apply. It forces a reset of the clock every second.
Comment on attachment 5923 Patch that forces clock reset every second Apologies, I'm actually unsure the patch works. Let me test further!

XFCE 4,12. Still buggy. Let's apply the patch?

(In reply to Alexander Kurakin from comment #4) > XFCE 4,12. Still buggy. Let's apply the patch? No, just spamming the clock with a ticker every second is wasteful so not a great approach by default.
