Peole using screen reading software for the blind, i.e gnome-orca are unable to view files/folder. The collums read out, name size type and date modified but nothing else. Using thunar 1.2.3-3 and gnome-orca 3.4.2-0 on Ubuntu.
If you use thunar 1.6.2 and exo 0.10 this already improved a lot, but its not perfect yet.
Hi, using libexo-1-0 0.10.2-0 and thunar 1.6.2-0 I experience the same problem viewing the files. The best view appears to be 'details' I can use Orca's flat review and see one file name, arrow down to the next file and again, that file/folder is exposed to Orca. It seems to be close to being accessible. Hope this helps. Rob
The experience could be better now that Thunar uses gtk3, I tried using orca but I wasn't able, sorry.
