Created attachment 4863
panel screenshot with temperature displayed vertically

it would be nice if one could set the font used to display temperature and other information.
I'm using a vertical panel and, at present time, these informations are displayed vertically, which is uncomfortable, due to unsufficient room in panel width (see attached screenshot).
It would be nice to be able to set a smaller font so that informations are displayed horizontally.
Thanks,

This is intentional and defined in the panel HIG, see http://wiki.xfce.org/dev/hig/panel-plugins.

You can use deskbar mode instead of vertical mode, this should give you the desired results.

You will be able to apply font settings in the next version (0.8.3).

thanks for the tip, I did not know that deskbar mode. It perfectly fits my needs.
