I know this is quite the feature-request, but I'm somewhat surprised that there isn't a bugreport about this yet. Sync with google-calendar would be a really nice feature!
So far there's only the calendar in the browser, which is by far not as convenient as a desktop-app could be. Would be nice if you could investigate whether there's a feasible solution for this - thanks in advance!

This has been discusse earlier...but yes, I agree that this is more and more important.

It seems that it is possible to sync latest Orage GIT with Google Calendar using gcaldaemon. See http://www.marshut.com/ihsmzi/adding-events-to-external-files.html . If that is confirmed to work, maybe there is no need to fix anything in Orage, and simply writing appropriate documentation would suffice.

yes, that is good idea. It does not hurt to add hints how other people have done it.

Hm, I haven't looked much at gcaldaemon, but couldn't it be an optional dependency and then a little more integrated to that ppl won't have to set up too much by hand?

The orage project is not maintained anymore and has been archived. Closing bugs.
