I'm using find (Ctrl+f) quite a bit daily and it's a bit cumbersome that there doesn't seem to be a keyboard-shortcut to jump to the next/previous element.
Usually it's Ctrl+g (Go in Mousepad) or Ctrl+n (opens a new document in Mousepad).

Probably remapping "Go to line" would make sense in this scenario.

Another (related) matter is that there are no mnemonic accelerators in the find-bar for next/previous and that the one that's being used for "Find" itself conflicts with the Navigation menu.

I confirm this bug.
Just for the record, the shortcut for Find Next/Find Previous is F3/Shift+F3, but the latter doesn't work. It's strange because it's Windows-like.
I think these shortcuts should be modified to Ctrl+G and Shift+Ctrl+G and the "Go to" to Ctrl+L.

More info:
Thunar works with Ctrl+G and Shift+Ctrl+G.
Firefox works with Ctrl+G, Shift+Ctrl+G, F3 and Shift+F3.
I think that the F3/Shift+F3 shortcuts should be kept, but the Ctrl+G/Shift+Ctrl+G should be the displayed in the edit menu.

It's probably worth a separate bugreport, but another issue I see with mousepad's find-function is that if you mark a word and then hit ctrl+f, the word isn't automatically copied over to the find-entry. This would be really helpful though.

Maybe bug 5905 handles this
