Hello!

It would be great if users could set the volume to more than 100% by continuously scrolling the wheel over the panel applet, when the sound card chosen is PulseAudio Mixer in the plugin properties.

That cannot be fixed in xfce4-mixer, rather this is an issue with the GStreamer Pulseaudio mixer backend which limits the maximum volume to PA_VOLUME_NORM, see

The GStreamer pulse mixer backend is in bad shape and it will never be improved since it was removed from GStreamer 1.0 together with the whole mixer API. So if you need to use Pulseaudio I would recommend using another mixer which is not based on GStreamer.
