xfce4-settings 4.8.3-1ubuntu3 On connecting via VGA cable xfce4-display-settings reports a 37" Sony Bravia TV as 'Sony 72"'. It probably doesn't make much difference functionally since the resolution seems to be ok, but it would be nice if the screen size were either reported correctly or not at all.
While we have improved that aspect, ultimately it's the display driver that reports that name and the settings dialog only displays it. So "Bravia" will never be part of that, the general format is "Vendor Size" (size in inches).
