My PC is old with a single-core Athlon XP.
Every now and then Thunar takes some time to open and then I notice the whole desktop is struggling. Then with much effort and patience I manage to open a terminal, run htop and find out that tumblerd is struggling the system.

I think that changing its nice value from 0 to 19 would definitely solve this problem. Would it be detrimental for other things?
