Thunar 1.6.1git-5785b27. Steps: 1. Open new tab 2. Select any file and press Ctrl+C 3. Go to first tab and press Ctrl+V and see that thunar do nothing, but if try do it by context-menu, all is ok
Same problem here since upgrading to Thunar 1.6.1 (from 1.4.0) - whenever I have a tab open CTRL+V doesn't seem to work. CTRL+X or CTRL+C (and probably most other keyboard shortcuts) still work though.

Created attachment 4801 Force update on tab switch Could someone try this patch?
I tested it. Bug still here
Unfortunately the patch doesn't seem to have made a difference for me either. I also noticed that not only does CTRL+V not work inside a Thunar window with tabs, if I open a new Thunar window, then create a new tab that I then immediately close, CTRL+V will still refuse to work. So it seems that simply having had a tab opened at some point will break CTRL+V

I was having the same problem, but only when the address bar was set to the breadcrumb style. So a workaround was (at least for me), to set thunar's address bar to the old-school textfield style.
The location buttons did it, fixed in 75b5e6f.
