Right-clicking files in the detailed list does not select the file

If you set the file view to be Detailed list, you cannot directly right-click an item to popup the context menu. Doing so pops up the parent folder's menu instead. The item must be selected first. If this is intentional, it is quite unintuitive.

Xubuntu 12.10/Xfce 4.10 with Thunar dev PPA.

This is a result of the inability to get properties of the current directory.

Too bad, this is annoying. One has to wait for the file to be autoselected (1 second) before calling the context menu. The file hover/selection does not work on unfocused windows so that makes it even more cumbersome.

Maybe implement a handler for a double right-click, for the heavy context users out there? Or an option in the preferences?

If the Single click mode (Preferences > Behavior > Single click to activate items), how to get the appropriate context menu of items in Detailed list mode?

Mm true. Revert to only unselect the items when control is pressed in 632227e.
