Hello, Normally, this header file is generated when when you pass --enable-maintainer-mode to the configure step. I just tested this and it seems to work fine here (Debian testing too btw). This particular Makefile does not seem to be different from all the others dealing with glade files in Xfce. But it's true that the --enable-maintainer-mode step is not intuitive, we get questions about that every now and then. As is, I fail to see the purpose of your patch. As far as I understand, the file still won't be generated if you don't use --enable-maintainer-mode, will it? Cheers, Jérôme
Maintainer mode is there to make sure its not re-created on systems downloading the tarball.
I forgot about the --enable-maintainer-mode switch... Sorry about the noise.
