Thunar displaying incomplete file list

Background: My home directory is a Window share stored on an NAS. This share is accessed by a Windows partition as well as my usual working environment under XUbuntu. The main working files are stored in a Dropbox subdirectory. I have used this configuration for years; this is nothing new.

Today is the second time I have encountered a strange problem with Thunar: numerous files and directories are "missing" in Thunar. If I look at the same directory from a shell, the files and directories are present. There is no difference in attributes, no apparent reason for the difference.

My home directory is mounted via autofs, using the command

brad -fstype=cifs,nounix,iocharset=utf8,nobrl,
username=brad,password=xxx,uid=1000,gid=1000 ://192.168.0.10/brad

See the attached screenshot: several directories are missing from Thunar's display.

Please compare with nautilus and the latest Thunar stable release. If both have the problem, its an issue in gvfs.

If Thunar stable has this problem as well, please reopen the bug.
