I've noticed that script xfterm4 in xfce-utils, which will set as default terminal in panel and right-cricked desktop menu, would use xterm. Instead of using this non-Unicode capable/non-inline inputable (as for my language) terminal, I'd like to Terminal/xfce4-terminal in my Xfce 4 session. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Created attachment 221 this patch makes Terminal default if exists I don't make sure how kind of terminal put here in, basically I'm considering order priority would be as follows if default wasn't specified in configure, Terminal-> GTK2 terminal (GNOME -> KDE if exists) -> X terminal I'd like to your comment, Xfce 4 folks ;)
Agh, I'm wrong at order. If this order will be acceptable, it should be Terminal-> GTK2 terminal (GNOME) -> QT terminal (KDE) -> X terminal thank you.
I'm not sure using gnome and kde terminals is a good idea, since lot of us use Xfce because they don't want to use kde and gnome stuff. So I think that using for example eterm or aterm, or any other terminal who is independant from the window manager, would be a better idea.
Alright, I committed the changes to svn, except that I didn't add gnome-terminal and konsole just to be safe. Thanks.
