Since an update of gdk-pixbuf from version 2.26.1 to 2.26.3 scaling of .xpm icons in the application menu is broken. I have also tested 2.26.4 with the same results. However I don't know whether this is xfce's or gdk-pixbuf's fault. For an idea on how it looks see attached images. All of the .xpm icons appear at their native resolution.
