Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I could not find how to Post a Request.

Anyways while xcfe is hands down the best lightweight Desktop it does lack in window decoration design.

While I can use Emerald with Compiz I would request a way to use Emerald without the need to install compiz and instead still use xfwm4 compositing. I just prefer all the decorations of Emerald especially with Transparency.

Compiz is overkill for me and I much prefer the xfwm4 compositing.
Infact the only reason I use compiz is just for Emerald.

I beleive if you made an update to allow emerald to work with xfwm4 compositing then you would completely remove the need for many users to install compiz.

it would be nice if in the Window Manager Tweaks -> Compositor there was a text feild where we could place "emerald --replace" and it would only replace the decorations but not the xfwm4 compositing. This would also be nice for those who still want compiz to place "--force-compiz" to auto start compiz in the session xml instead of making work arounds to replace compiz after startup.

Thanks
