This process had been working correctly for the last 2 months but now has stopped It appears both orage xfce4-mixer were once in experimental along with the rest of the base packages of xfce 4.10 but are no longer there.
Downstream Debian issue, nothing to fix for Xfce. Debian experimental is by definition experimental: in this particular case, only Xfce 4.10 core has been included in experimental. All panel plugins are incompatible and need to be rebuilt, and this hasn't been done yet.
