I guess one time for ~/.config/autostart/app.desktop and second time for ~/.cache/sessions/xfce4-session-HOST.local:0 that's quite annoying since I have to close one of instances each time I log in. If I remove contents of ~/.cache/sessions/ before login then only one instance is started. Expected behavior: session manager checks if app stored in session is also in ~/.config/autostart/ and skips it if so.
nobody cares..
*** Bug 10195 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
There is some work being done on the session start/save cycle here: https://wiki.xfce.org/design/xfce4-session/sessionsaving I don't want to make changes until that's done in the event there's a much better way to go with things.
