Got a Wacom Bamboo Connect. On XFCE, the stylus buttons are mapped incorrectly and ignores settings set by xsetwacom. I reported it to the wacom guys at first, but later confirmed that it worked fine on a couple of other desktop environments. Here's the original bug report:

Hello Aaron,

The Xfce mouse/touchpad dialog (xfce4-mouse-settings) doesn't let you define the buttons of the input.

Default settings are correct for me, a press on screen is button 1, and a press on the side button of the pen is button 3.

If I understand right, this is inverted for you?

Can you try with a dummy Xorg session? startx /usr/bin/xterm (Ctrl + Button 1/3 opens a menu in xterm).

Also, when I try to switch the buttons with the xsetwacom command line tool it works fine (f.e. xsetwacom set "Wacom ISDv4 E6 Pen stylus" Button 3 "button 1"), and I don't have any xorg.conf file on this system.

Look also for hints inside the Xorg log /var/log/Xorg.0.log, for example:
grep -10 Wacom.*Pen /var/log/Xorg.0.log

Regards,
Mike

Hello, Mike. I'm able to set the pen with xsetwacom. There was some confusion on my end because the mappings for Bamboo tablets are different. I'm not quite sure I understand the details, but someone posted on the linuxwacom bug with an explanation. It seems this really isn't an issue with XFCE, sorry for the noise. :)
