When using amarok, while the volume plugin is loaded, the panel crashes.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. run amarok
2. go to the next song
3. panel crash

This is some info I got from running the panel inside gdb:
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

I'm running xfce 4.2.1

Additional:
I'm running Gentoo Linux, xfce 4.2.1 is in ~x86 on time of writing (but 4.2.0 in
x86 had the same crash).
I use Alsa 1.0.8
Comment 2 Emil Jacobs 2005-04-13 05:31:39 CEST
The bug is solved.
The problem lies in the combination of alsa-1.0.8 and kde-3.4.0, just downgrade
to alsa-1.0.7 and you're fine.
Cheers all!

notice bug #855 though
Comment 4 Emil Jacobs 2005-04-13 15:59:42 CEST
Last update:
I asked other people to confirm the bug for me, and it appears that even for
people without kde-3.4.0, the panel crashes.
So, I guess the problem only lies in alsa-1.0.8 and 1.0.9 ...
