I'm running mosh (https://github.com/keithw/mosh) in the Terminal and find some of the text not updated in time:

* It happens only near the bottom
* It happens only in mosh, not in local shell or ssh
* If I select the not-updated part, that part becomes normal (what should be displayed)
* It usually but not always happens
* Everything is ok in xterm

Currently it only happens inside tmux (and I have a statusbar at the bottom that sometimes won't update too). But I seldom run mosh without tmux inside.

BTW, I'm using Awesome window manager on Arch Linux.

This has also been reported at Debian: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=684445 and, as noted there, other VTE-based terminals (Sakura, etc) don't seem to suffer from this problem. For what it's worth, I see it using screen, not vte.

Vte-3 fixed this in https://git.gnome.org/browse/vte/commit/?id=88e8e89

To see this fixed in xfce4-terminal, it should upgrade to using Vte-3: bug 11207.

Resolved by migrating to vte3.
