I make symlinks (i'm in the the target directory) from on dir to another for different files with this command: ln -s ~/Videos/0401\ R\ \&\ Z\ 12.avi The target itself is also in my home-dir, in the public folder. If an symlink exists, there should be the feedback "file exists" or something (which is implemented), BUT in the german translation you can read " ln: Symbolischen Verknüpfung »./0401 R & Z 12.avi“ konnte angelgt werden: Die Datei existiert bereits " There is first an typo in it: angelgt = angelegt Second, and much worse, the NO is complete lost, the sentence says: Link could be created: The file already exists. The correct sentence would be: "ln: Symbolischen Verknüpfung »./0401 R & Z 12.avi“ konnte nicht angelegt werden: Die Datei existiert bereits." This leads to the complicated situation, that an unexperienced user does not understand, what had happened and which information is correct... .
