My laptop is the lenovo edge e520.
1. Disable the touchpad (Settings, Mouse and Touchpad, Device: SynPS/2 Synaptics Touchpad, uncheck "Enable this device")
2. Put the laptop into suspend.
3. Wake the laptop.

After step 3, the touchpad will be reenabled. It should not be.
