I upgraded from Fedra 16 to Fedora 17, I was surprised that xfrun4 was missing, but finally I found xfce4-appfinder (4.9.3-2.fc17.x86_64). It's much better than the old xfrun4 (unfortunately I don't know the version number on F16), however one feature is missing.

Earlier xfrun4 could handle relative paths, so I could use it to start applications from my home dir. Like this: "bin/app" (or probably it was "~/bin/app", I don't remember), but now neiter relative, nor absolute (/home/.../bin/app) paths work. :(
