If you are using 48px icons Thunar will use them for emblems too, but it will scale them down to 32px which makes them a bit fuzzy. A pixel perfect icon as example: http://de.zimagez.com/zimage/example-inkscape.php The icon rendered as 48px(still pixel perfect): http://de.zimagez.com/zimage/example-renderedat48px.php As emblem the 48px icon is scaled down to 32px: http://de.zimagez.com/zimage/iconinthunar.php Why not using their 32px equivalent to keep them pixel perfect?
I can't reproduce this, the site hosting the screenshots is gone, report from 2012, closing to cleanup bugzilla a bit. Feel free to reopen.

As Julien said, if it is still a problem, please reopen a new bug, and best upload the screenshots as attachments into the bug, so they dont get lost.
