Hey,

in the shipped /etc/xdg/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xsettings.xml there are a bunch of default values, supposedly taken from http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Specifications/XSettingsRegistry

However, at least ThemeName and IconThemeName seem wrong. The linked page says:

Net/ThemeName: string "Default"
Net/IconThemeName: string "hicolor"

while the shipped files says:

    <property name="ThemeName" type="empty"/>
    <property name="IconThemeName" type="empty"/>

I'm a bit unsure how this is handled, but I can't find an hicolor string in xfsettingsd sources, so my guess is that it's not really handled.

Shouldn't those keys be changed to their default?

Not set on purpose since most distros patch this according to their default theme.

Well, I'm not sure for other distribs, but we do patch it just because the default values don't make sense :)
