Created attachment 4435 xfce4-netload-plugin-fix-progress-bar-size-after-orientation-change.patch When the panel orientation changes (e.g. from horizontal to vertical), the progress bars have a wrong size, and the plugin looks pretty much messed up. To avoid this, issue a size request after the panel orientation changes.

Could be, sometimes I work too fast... I can't find this patch anymore on my system, sorry. Maybe just apply the follow-up patch(es) and see if it is fixed there, I can still create an extra patch should it be necessary.
I have to correct myself: I'm using this patch, but maybe it alone doesn't fix it. Sorry for that. I think I fixed more things in the follow-up patches, and didn't test this patch enough. If I'm right, the follow-up patches will fix this completely (as that is what I'm using right now).
