Single-click in detailed list view: mouse movement threshold for rubber band ...
Status:
RESOLVED: DUPLICATE

Description icehand 2012-05-12 16:52:04 CEST
Thunar's single-click behaviour in detailed list view is flawed especially when using a trackpad/trackpoint: When the mouse cursor moves just a tiny bit when clicking on a file or folder, the item is selected by the rubber band instead of opened. This is not the case with the icon view or compact list view.

Thunar should be consistent and behave in detailed list view just as in the other two views: small mouse movements on single-click should be ignored.

(That mouse movement activates the rubber band in detailed list view and not a drag & drop action as in the other views is a different bug.)
