Mam pewien problem.
I have a problem. Now when I play the game in a window and you are notified, or someone will write to me by messenger and it will appear at the top of the chat window, it automatically stops acting in the game keys (F1-F12) and the right mouse button, but it runs the desktop menu (right mouse button). As if the game window was lower than the desktop. No shortcut does not work, just Alt + F4 closing the game window. This happens in every game, no matter what kind of game, and what is the title. Just something that appears, and the game stop working F1-F12 and the right mouse button. xfce 4.10 pre2, Ubuntu 12.04
Could also be an issue (or could be avoided in Xfwm4).
Sorry for the late reply. Can you still reproduce this with the latest releases of Xfce? I does indeed look more like a window manager issue, I don't see how xfce4-notifyd could still focus and keyboard shortcuts. Olivier, any thoughts on this?

Olivier, any > thoughts on this? Unliklely notifyd, AFAIK notification deamon does not focus its windows. But any app can and will try to steal focus. If your chat app steals focus, it will get focus, the WM cannot really guarantee that it cannot happen (because by design the window manager only gets notified on the focus change, it's not a request that can be denied). Do you have the compositor enabled? If you have the compositor enabled, fullscreen override windows will be un-redirected, ie they will be sent directly to the screen and not through the compositor, and the window manager will draw underneath.
