Thank you very much for your work on xfce.

Sometimes laptop users remove their battery while on AC power.  For example, they might do this to avoid wearing out the battery.  Or to eliminate the risk of a plugged-in-battery fire while the laptop's unattended.

But these users might accidentally disconnect their AC power, forgetting that the battery's not present.  I've done it.

If users do this, they might lose unsaved work.

Suggested enhancement:
-  On laptops, if there's no battery present, please show a battery-not-present icon at all times.

How can you draw this icon?  It's up to you.  Windows Vista uses an icon showing a AC plug and cord running vertically next to a battery.  The battery has a red "X" covering it.  I'm no artist but if you email me your old battery icon maybe I can draw you these things.
