I have problems with using xfce save-session feature.
When I have some programs running (so far I have found exaile and clementine { both are music players, coincidence? } to cause(?)
troubles).
and attempt to logout with save-session toggled xfce simply does nothing.
When I press the logout button again xfce tells me that it is 'Unable to communicate with session manager'.
Then two things may happen. I may sit in despair and after minute or so xfce will log me out.
Or I can manually kill the offending process ( say, exaile ) with the same effect.
But then, upon next login xfwm4 is not started automatically, so I have to rescue myself with alt+F2.

- I am sure i have dbus, consolekit services running.
- Output from ck-list-sessions seems legit.
!- And most importantly without music player running everything works perfectly.

Components installed:

gentoo stable
slim

my .xinitrc is
---------------------------------
PATH="$PATH:/usr/games/bin"
exec ck-launch-session startxfce4
---------------------------------
